Nintendo: "Core gamers shouldn't feel left out."

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Nintendo: "Core gamers shouldn't feel left out."

"How could you feel left out? The Animal Crossing that we've been hearing about that people wanted," he said. "Fully connected to the Internet, go to other people's towns. Plus as I said, Grand Theft Auto on the DS. How do you feel left out with those types of announcements?"

No, this isn't a quote from an Onion piece.

Animal Crossing is hardcore. GTA on the DS that's where it should have been all along. I mean now you can actually blow into the virtual breathalizer ... sheesh.

Nintendo was just downright mean at E3. Where are all the "Old Classics" that they mentioned? And why do they tease earthbound fans?!

We are hardcore Nintendo fans but recently abandoned them. I just bought my son a PSP a week ago. He loves it. Lego Indiana Jones rocks!

It isn't bad on the DS too.

We certainly can't blame Nintendo for the DS titles (there are tons of interesting choices), even though admittedly the Wii isn't receiving the same attention: due to easier development and lower production costs, developers could have released a *lot* more... Nintendo should rely more on third parties and cooperate for some fresh franchise outside the scope of the 'Mario universe'.

Indeed, that quote looks like it has been taken from The Onion. :)

Advanced wars is the only good game I can find for the DS atm, then again, cant find many for PSP either :\
