ovine by design - Myth

Im quite excited about the MYTH remake that they are doing at ovine by design

Myth was an awesome game. I had the C64 cartridge version which was cool, no loading!

The best bit was when you chopped medusa's head off and shot stuff with it. :)

I recall a Myth demo on the Amiga but I kept having problems getting it to run without crashing, but it did seem like a cool game.

The Amiga version was crap.

Hope this does the C64 version justice, sounds exciting.

I've never heard of the MYTH you mentioned - I thought you meant the one by Bungie which was a series of 3 Real Time Tactical games.

yeah i had it for the spectrum - one of its best games

I had it for the CPC which was identical to the speccy bar the final shooty stage.
Still a lot of fun to play though :D

Eh? The Amiga version rocked.

The graphical style really puts me off this remake. They're pretty well done but maybe a bit over stylised and cartoony. Just a personal preference thing, as I say the artwork is of decent quality.

That is a gorgeous looking game.
