Spore editor demo has been leaked...

I hear it came from a magazine CD, so it's semi-legit. Just google it.

Official version with 4x as many creature parts will be relesed Wednesday for $10 which you can use towards a purchase of the full game when it comes out in September.

Had a play on it last night - fun, very intuitive.

Not too much you can do with it as a demo with no links to the main game - but worth giving it a whirl.

now they only need to make this editor export to all possible formats and they will have success :)

I tried it the other day, and even though I'm not the most artistic person I still managed to create some interesting beasties. Not sure I'd pay $10 for it, but it does get you a discount from the full game which sweetens the deal a little. Now I just want to see how all these weird creatures act in the full game.
