The code for Maplet was lost. I haven't heard anything about a new Maplet being developed, and I doubt we'll hear anything other than speculation anytime soon.

i hope not. Time is best spent on develop blitzmax and max3d. There is a lot of cheap and easy to use 3D editors out there already.
