3D Grass?

Hiya all,

I have try modelings Basic 3D Grass in 3DS MAX 2008 but it wasnt easy to do.

Have anyone done Modelings 3D grass in 3DS Max 2008 before?

I have always used multiple dynamic cross-planes with PNG alpha textures, but im sure theres a better way.

for real time use i see no purpose to model exactly 3D grass models...same, even better you can achieve with proper use of X planes(assuming use of matching side textures)..
