Vortex

Vortex is my latest game to run on Windows, Linux (including Asus EEE PC) and Mac.

Its a sort of pseudo-sequel to BallZ II and an unreleased game called Bloxed Out.

In this game (1 - 4 players, each using either a mouse or joypad), you need to tag and then destroy various shapes before they hit the vortex in the centre of the screen. Fail to do so, and it gets better.

Once it reaches full screen size, its game over.

Its nearing completion (preview version 0.0.0.2), and is playable now (although various things need to be added).

Well, I watched the video - it took a while for me to realise what was happening.

It didn't seem terribly exciting - then again - I don't play arcade/2D games - so I know nothing about the appeal of these games.


Is this true or did you mean to say 'bigger'?
