Prehaps he means add an ambient light so he can see the dark side when the sun is on the left? (which would be wrong, tell him to use google earth if he wants that :P)

I stopped listening to users right about the time you gits started requesting inane features in the stuff I released. Remember, it's alright to say no to a client, and it's even easier to say no to someone if you already have their money, but it's best to just say no all the time so every time you do something, you deliver beyond expectation. If at all possible, however, don't actually say no, just imply it by saying nothing.

Edit: "No comment" is better than a "no" comment.

99% of people are stupid. Not us lot, of course. Other people. That's a fact. That's why it's always best to listen politely to advice and then ignore it.

When you have something in the public arena, the bulk of your users (70%?) will have at least some/one valid observations regarding your software/product. I think it good business to communicate that you are listening - just be wary of making promises.

Of course there is the 10% that are just nuts. Just look at this forum for instance ;-)

Consider how dumb the average person is -- then realize that half of them are dumber than that.
