I wouldn't consider the CornerShot a spooky weapon, but definitely useful.

The railgun & 'rods from God' are staggering.

Looking forward to when they start experimenting with tanks,with the CornerShot.hehe

Thats a lot more complicated, you can't simply bend a tank's barrel. The round would shatter at the turn, a good example of this is the German's curved barrel attachment for the StG 44.

An old one is the balloon bombs the Japanese used against the US in WWII. They were basically balloons with 20 or so sandbags and a bomb attached. They would then release them into the air and use a high flowing air current that goes from Japan towards the US. As the balloons lost height, an altimeter would tirgger one of the sandbags to drop and it would gain height again. This repeated itself untill all the sandbags were gone, and then it dropped the bomb.

The Japanese released about 9000 of these. The only casualty from them was a family on on a picnic after the war. They found an unexploded bomb, and accidentally detonated it. Kind of sad.

They should dump these fancy pants weapons and fight like real men....
