New ARTERIA3d site just launched

Hi

After many months of revamping and working on lots of new models we have just relaunched the new arteria site. its been a few years since the first arteria site was launched and with out new found quality levels, it was time for a reshape. All content is new, and contains many new features such as multiple LODS, normal maps, plus interiors

Content is being added daily, so stay tuned for lots of great models. The music section launches this saturday.

Is Arteria still selling music packs?

I bought several packs for Tank Universal and they were excellent.
I mentioned Arteria in the game's credits and the quality of the music has been mentioned by reviewers.

The church is very good but the cottage is fantastic. I dislike overly photographic textures but you've managed to find a style which is very realistic without that photographic look. Very impressive.

You will love the new music section. Since making the last set of packs, i have re kitted my studio out and the new tracks ive been working on are really cool

That cathedral has some odd textures.

It isnt a cathedral, its a real church that exists in my home town in the uk. Every face of that church had a photo taken and applied in the correct place, so if the textures look odd, indeed the church must look odd, as its a replica

I kinda know what he means about that church. Seems a bit 'squashed'?

A lot of roof and not a lot of wall. Maybe that's how it is in reality but, I dunno...

I think the screenshots would look better iff you added some directional lighting as they do sort of look flat. (and the blacksmith has a funny face, looks like he's just whacked his thumb) :)

I have bought some items from there. I got lod1,lod2,lod3,lod4 and lod5. I guess each of them have different ploygens.

Yes, you have the 'base model' at the highest polygon count, then you have up to 5 other model versions, each at a reduced poly count. Also each of the textures for the lod vesions are also reduced in size - this dramataically helps with fps, if you were to implement the various stages of lod.

Imagine a tree at a base of 1500polys. Then you have 100 of these in game. That would be a lot of polys, but you then use the lod for this model - and the lowest lod level is only 100polys - you will definatally gain a performance increase

I have no problem with pay pal for years :)
it is very quick and direct rather going to post office and send post order or writing a cheque then send the post.

I know which one I pefer but everyone is different :)

I bought some things on new website. I hope he going to revamp the new website rather than Vanish(mean running away!) as he got lots going for his 3D Modelings!

Well, I much prefer a ecommerce site that provides a link straight to the goodies, such as Share-It and the like.

I even tried that 'Online Support' chat box thingy on the home page... apparently, all their operatives are busy assisting other customers! lol, or, theres no sod there! :P

Hi Michael,

I have got the order and processing it now. The site was down for maitenance yesterday, and the online chat application needs fixing, as it shouldnt display online chat at the weekend.

Also the standard order process is 24 hrs, although goods are normally dispatched within a few hours, when the site isnt in a maintenance schedule.

I purchased a year's subscription in February this year but am unable to access the new site to gain free access to the models that I was told i would be able to.

I have emailed Steve several times over the last month but have received no response as to how I gain access.

<EDIT: A short while after this, I decided to try yet again, and I managed to contact Yertari on Windows Live Messenger and have now sorted the matter. EDIT>

That happened to me as well a while back and I just gave up with the damn thing. Had a year subscription and only had access to the same stuff the entire time.
