Because that would just be silly. That seems to be a very nice progress ... so by 2010 / 2011 we will finally be able to get SSD with usefull capacities and affordable enduser prices :)
Thought lets see that comparisions again once conventional harddisks are finished with the move to the new recording scheme on the disks ... that should give them a nice little boost again at even higher densities than right now.
