Over on Indiegamer someone was asking for people who've completed a game to talk about how they marketed it, what the money was like, what the target audience was etc. Several people replied with some interesting figures and I made a blog post about mine for those of those who are interested:

Without being too nosey, I assume Fairway solitare has made much higher profits than Holiday Bonus, are you now set to be a games coder for life?
Well my son helped to test the game and it was something he was proud of and wanted to tell his friends so I killed two birds with one stone.
Yeah Fairway has made me a considerable sum of money and I'm making two more games for BFG at least over the next year. I'd love to keep making games (but want to do more design/producing and hire the coders in the near future - in fact right now), but the market is constantly changing so there are no guarantees but I reckon I'm in it for the long haul in some form or another yeah :-)
