3D Sculpting program?

Does anyone know of a good 3D sculpting program?

So far I have found only CD model pro: http://www.cbmodelpro.com/
But it's still in beta and lacks texture painting, including alpha painting.

The sticky mentioned mudbox from Autodesk, but they don't have that product anymore.

I just need a simple 3D sculpting program so I drag and push faces to form new faces on a mesh, just like CD model pro does it.

You can use Silo, Blender, 3D-Coat, or Zbrush. 3D-Coat has the advantage that it's a model painting program as well as a sculptor. Silo is a solid low-poly modeller and UV mapper as well, so there are also advantages to using it. Blender is good being free, but not everyone likes its interface, while Zbrush is the powerhouse sculptor and 2D graphics app, but like Blender its interface isn't for everyone.

I think it has the nicest interface of the ones I've tried. But it doesn't do texturing.

ZBrush is really nice as well, once you get used to the interface. It does texture painting as well, so there's very little you cannot do in it...

Zbrush's texturing capabilities are good for high poly models, but it's not so crash hot for low-poly. 3D Coat really is a great deal better.

Thanks, I took at look at Silo earlier, now at the tutorial videos of 3D-Coat, and they looked somewhat promising.

3D-Coat has at least somekind of texture painting, it copies the texture from a background photo. I wonder if it has also real texture painting mode, like on terrain editors.

ZBrush might be the most professional of them, as I've heard many people using it. It should also have a polygon number reducing function, but it can be done with UU3D also I think.
