..I just came across this interesting game and give it a try and, yeah, verry nice :)..aah..syster requirements(one of them) DirectX 6 .. hehe.. obviously some interesting things can be still done well on old tech :)

..well..I saw Torque logo at begining..

tried the demo, brilliant game, nice graphics, the 60 mins went very quickly... 20 min for me and 40 for the kids.

Torque then ?

Is it another one of those tower defence games?

If you mean moving mobs by tower defense then no.

Its more one of those old tower war games where you fire with a tower on an enemy tower.

And yes, torque wasn't too hard, especially as it was promoted quite nicely on the torque page and even more on the apple page a few weeks ago :)
