Does anyone know of any transition creators?

Hi everyone

I am trying to find any freeware/shareware transition creators (mainly to be used for creating terrain transition textures)

I managed to find a few myself with links that no longer work, does anyone know of any I may have missed?

This one was the first I found while searching

I do remember zak-interactive.dk had one a few years ago now but could not find any mention of it anywhere.

Failing that does anyone know of any good masking techniques or able to provide links for reference so that I could create my own transition creator.

Ages ago I wrote a program in B3D based on Rhodan's algorithm.
Executable and source code are still available from here: Heightland

It blends up to four images and the alpha mask (called heightmap) can have any shape.

If you plan to create many textures side a side to it: Texture Maker 3 has such a feature integrated
