Sound modules

What Sound module is available that covers :
Streaming
EAX
3D
and doesn't need external dlls?
Redi's Maxmod and Leadwerk's OpenALAudioex are excellent but cover some, but not all, the above (I think)
As for Bass and Fmod I never know where to start.

I've got quite along way into the next MAJOR release of maxmod which already supports 3D (and early EAX and VST3 support) on both OpenAL and DirectSound, the main problem I'm having so far is the differences between EAX in OpenAL and DirectSound.

Dont hold your breath though mate its a long way away yet, you'd be better going with FMODex or BASS really.

Ideally, this solution would also be available on Linux and MacIntel. I like OpenAL because it is open source, cross-platform, powerful and is always being improved.
