Remote Desktop to a Mac

Is there any way I can connect to my Mac from my Windows PC, i.e. Remote Desktop.
I know I could do it with VNC, but I've found that the screen is quite slow updating, whereas RDP connections are really fast.

you can turn the VNC frames per second down in the options, turning this down to 5 frames per second makes it a lot faster.
