I have spent sometime going through a shed load of old links that I have had collected here. And some of these, you guys might find very interesting!. This is going to look like spam now, but let me put you at ease a little. I have used Quidco myself and just today managed to withdraw £100 into my own bank account so I am indeed one happy bunny. With the current situation of the credit crunch, I thought I would try and enlighten you lot to these sites!.
What I have for you here is a number of cash back sites that let you get an extra few percent or amount off certain things. (Not just limited to computer equipment btw).
My 1st one is QuidCo
Some of these bargins here include upto 3% ontop of what dabs.com offers, 3% off alienware, 5% on microwarehouse and if your in the mood for games try 4% off software price of play.com.
Edit: Well there is a special rate on game for 11% now with quidco!
My second one is r points
This website operates in a slightly different way then others, then tend to give points rather then cash amount back. But once you have a certain amount of points you can then withdraw them for cash. From what I can tell, 1 point = 1 english penny. Company's here include Novatech 1.5%, dell usa upto 4%. And for your gaming needs, theres game at 4%!.
Worth a mention is that; there is a rather active userbase on r-points, that like to list stuff like e-vouchers and free samples of products (for example I spotted a free 128mb usb pen drive for signing up to a catalog of some sort).
Third I bring you, free fivers
Not really looked into this one much, but you can get a free £5 for one purchase from there. Hence the name!. Might be worth just to buy one of those hot games you been waiting for, just for the extra £ off the price, do once and forget?!. In this site there is also a list of free stuff you can get too.
Almost last but not least is hotukdeals
Now this site is not like the previous cash back type of sites, its just like a large list of products listed by keen forum members. If you look hard you might find what you are after. Then on top of that, use one of the above sites to get even more money off!.
Finally, lastminute auction.com
Listing of ebay, ending soon, less then £1 "potential" bargins. Could be worth a look!, however as I have noticed you better take note of the cost of p&p.
Now these sites are not strictly linked to computer hardware and software alone. For example, I just sorted out my car insurance with m>re than, cheapest one I could find and on top of that I got £75 cash back using quid co.
