C&C Gold for free anyone?

As the link is /uk/, you might find it only works in the uk?

It sounds too good to be true...

How do you know it is legal?
Did you download and install?
Did you have any problem (such as viruses etc.)?
How do you know it is a UK link?

it's very legal. It's the EA website!

Yep, I posted it then, but IIRC the downloads were practically dropping out because the demand was so high, so now is probably a much better time to mention it because with luck the downloads might actually work.

EDIT: Or maybe not, if Dabs' comment is anything to go by.

Look at the link url, the /uk/ part. And I dont know if its only the UK.

I wasn't aware I needed to post an essay along with cool links, I am so sorry - I plead for your forgiveness!.

My motivation: As its a game, a good game too - Thought you lot as potential game developers would be interested.

EDIT: Also, the link does work for me (the one I posted), the file is a .zip and it's big!.

I think I did download it at the time, if anyone needs it I can stick it up on my webspace unless there is some bar on mirror the content.

Darkheart: I doubt it's legal to make it available yourself -- it's still copyrighted software, after all.
