I'm thinking about getting some banner ads out and about.
Thought I'd ask how one does this?
..and whether people find them effective in increasing traffic to a website (+sales)?
If you mean google ads etc, Banner Ads did have higher click rates but it doesn't go proportional with your sales(eg. mostly the same percent as text ad, but since more ppl clicked, your sale shoul go a bit up).
This may very in many cases, but typicalyl you pay more on banner ads anyway, and it has no significant increase on sale, especially for a game, a youtube intro brings more revenue as google ad has.
