Hi all,
I have a pc without internet connection and need re-installation.
Are there any offline XP-SP2 patch installation files?
Thanks in advance
:)
Download
the files copy them to a CD, install...
Does Google not work for you or something?

Thanks a lot, Darkheart.
I use Google to search it, but the results are from unknown websites, instead of official microsoft. If I go directly to Microsoft, it requires my pc to install some prg for on-line checking and downloading.
BTW, Darkheart, will it include recent security update files?
:)
No it's just SP2, XP SP3 is due out soon but is not released to the public yet.

Offline update that downloads directly from Microsoft:

@xlsior: Could they be installed on Windows XP with different foreign language, except English?
:)
if you download the correct package, yes. There is normally a dropdown menue on the MS page.
and the prg that you need to install is the WGA checker. That verifies your Windows installation.
Should be installed anyway on your system, otherwise you are far from up to date and a wandering danger for the online world
XP Service Pack 3 is due in a week or so - many computer magazines will put it on their coverdisks.
