Looks ok but that's a lot of tri's for such a small scene. Are you layering terrains?
Yeah, each texture layer uses a new surface of tri's. I've found most hieghtmap to mesh programs produce a hell of alot of extra polygons that aren't needed at all. You end up with too many tri's on the unneeded parts and not enough on the detailed parts.
I like the landscape though.
this is not much polys.. mordern game is using 2.000.000 polys at once.

On blitz it is though. Unless your just trying to create a nice scene, actually adding game stuff will be the killer. And with an extra 200,000 polygons on top, yer asking for trouble :D
