Yesterday I got my first HD Telly delivered to me. It's a Beko 32inch.
Is it normal for the screen to be hot. My previous normal telly never was like this so I'm just wondering if somethings wrong.
Plasma or LCD?
Plasma can get pretty warm IIRC.
Yes they get warm. Plasmas more so than LCD's. Even my LCD monitor gets a little warm.
Yeh, my Samsung jobbie was hot to touch. I read the manual and found it had different energy-saving settings. I lowered mine and then just increased the brightness and contrast to compensate.
one of my brothers cats has found the warm spot of his 32" jobbie
she gets away with it most times as he just has news 24 or sky news just as back ground noise whilst working on his pc or playing games
heaven help her if she tries that during the GP :))
nowadays cos they are thinner than CRT telly's cats cant slouch on top like they used to
Mine gets warmish, but certainly not hot.
I can feel some heat coming off of my 42" LG LCD HDTV.
