So the console is just "loose" in the box?

What does he mean( he talking about my sega master system)?
is he saying that there no ploy to wrap the console or somethings as I dont understand what he mean.

when something is listed as 'loose' in the box
be it the original box it came in or just a box
its the object and no packing material so the bigger the box the more it can move around

some people might put those packing bits in to steady it but if it dont its at the hands and mercy of the postal system which could split the attom if one were posted

i remember when i worked for an indi pc builder our chosen courier firm just DROPPED a box infront of the customer and asked for em to sign
even with the loud pc case breaking smash coming through the cardboard

most 8 bit computers and consoles no longer have the original box as its the first thing to be chucked out by clutter free parents
or the box might stay but the firm polestyreen packaging ends up in the bin as it normally ends up like a spilt bean bag pieces everywhere

well I have kept the oringal sega master system box with instructions manual. I hoping a man buy my sega master system with 2 games and I got other retro console to sell too.

I ahve NES's with the box. Well one box at least. I don't recall if I have a second box. But I have several NES's. I wonder what they go for with the box.

I am selling PS 2(but the first port is broken and CD Tray is fine but the little abit end of is broken, there is missing picese back of expanions port), I going sell on ebay either today or tomorrow.

is their a game station near you? they used to buy and sell retro stuff (till game bought em so now im not too sure) mind you they might buy for x and sell for y leaving you z out of pocket in comparison

my brother has been on ebay and google checking the going rates for some of my dads camera stuff if sold one lense alone would pay his rent
