Can I have a go on your slide?
I'm glad you and your family are safe :c)
The textures of the fence are really great.
Can I use them? ;-)
trees are good..
I have been in a similar situation. Tornados, and especially the aftermath aren't good. What you see in pictures, or on tv, or read in the news is usually only a small percentage of the devastation. Also, the news media attention fades, but the need for replacing lost food, clothes, housing, etc... remains. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and others affected by this. BTW, those will make nice textures :).
I just came from Greensburg, KS. They went through an F5 that leveled a good portion of the town. They are still considering creating a new classification of F6 based on what it did to that town. I've been through an F3 myself but was amazed at how much total devastation the Greensburg tornado did almost a year ago.
Nothing that a little duct tape can't fix :D
lol @ gfk. That tickled me, for some reason. :)
Nice trees, is it generated with tree[d] or PlantLife or Onyx Trees?
(I'm just trying to keep it computer relative :P)
I find it odd that neither enigmaticgames.com nor jbclark.org (the url those images are located) have a homepage.
lol @ gfk. That tickled me, for some reason. :)
Me too, because the first thing following "Holy fuck" that came to my mind, was that the slide must weigh 50 ton to still be there! :-)
I find it odd that neither enigmaticgames.com
Personal webspace? Anyway, he explained that in a previous thread.
getting the domain before someone else does
but not having anything to put up on it yet
all quite normal
nothing to see here move along
as for the slide
perhaps its from the next state down ;)
lol @ all the comments.
My neighbor got his tree removed from my yard and my fence fixed -- that was quick.
the slide is not heavy at all, the wind was a lot higher than ground level, so most 'low' things did not get the full force of the wind.
As far as my domain names -- jbclark.org does go somehwere, it is just not public (and I use it for e-mail).
Same goes for enigmaticgames.com and gemheroes.com. I did not realize that the second I purchased a domain I had to put some kind of public facing website up.
From what I had skimmed over in your first thread made me think you've developed games before, so I assumed at least enigmaticgames.com would be up.
in the F3 I went through, the major damage started about a block from my house... roofs blown off... and another block and houses totally gone.
Yet the EMPTY plastic garbage cans in my yard... Not even tipped over. Tornados are wonderfully odd beasts.
