I'm ashamed to admit they got me on this one.

Lol, it's now doing the rounds at work!

Although it is old, my favorite April Fools prank was when Burger King advertised the left-handed Whopper and people actually went in trying to order them.

No freaking way Duffer! Amazing.

You should be able to google it, was in the late 90s IIRC. It was priceless.

Its 2:05pm here now. Safe again for another year.

*crawls out from behind the sofa*

Well, I posted on my site & blogs that we will rise prices 10x times tomorrow because of increasing development costs and piracy, so you better harry up and buy those games today (and save 90% of what you would pay tomorrow) :D

cheers
Roman

That's not an april fools joke, That's just taking advantage... Shifty marketing.

lol.

What's a reason to make April Fools joke if it doesn't sound real (or interesting) but can't be guest after another thought? And if you can take advantage of it, why not :D

Google's not only doing that. They also have a link on the main page which says they're partnering with Virgin to start sending people to colonize mars in 2014:
http://www.google.com/virgle/index.html

There's a questionaire, but just click the submit button and it'll tell you you passed and that you should now submit a youtube video explaining why you should be selected to live on mars.

That will take you to a video here:

And if you click on the video responses you can see all the webcam videos people submitted:

:-)

I wonder what its like to work for Google, as they seem to have a whicked sense of humour! :)

It looks good. They've got slides and stuff for getting between floors.

I sent an email to Mark himself just yesterday and got a reply earlier today, perhaps you guys just need to be more professional or something...

Also, Anawiki, what you are suggesting is not going to make anyone feel stupid in the sense that an April Fool trick would. It's got more chance of bringing people to your front door with pitchforks, I know for a fact that I would.

Promising your users something and not delivering is not an April fool. It's pretty much Fraudulant, that's something Antony would do.
