email cache

can I access my old emails even though i can no longer connect to a certain connection.
I need to rescue an email you see and wondered if it was cached somewhere

It was from a remote connection through microsoft outlook express

outlook express should have the information contained in its database -- as long as you did not delete it.

Outlook Express by default would have downloaded the message and stored it locally in a .dbx file, somewhere under c:\documents and settings\<username>

If you have access to the .dbx file you could copy it to your own system and import it into your own outlook express.

naah it wasn't there. not to worry though.
