Years ago my dad asked why no one makes games about flower arranging (he's an old hippy) and I thought he was nuts. Little did I know that years later I'd be coming up with ideas for games called "Flower Shop" and that half the downloadable games market was about fashion or pets/flowers/cooking/jewellery.
Anyway, I've just played a really addictive "flower arranging" game. Checkout my review if you can bear it!

How about a compromise? Make a game based on the old Monty Python skit where D. P. Gumby drives flowers into a vase with a mallet.

Well I didn't download it when they were giving it away free on GOTD, so...
I don't think they gave this one away free on GOTD because it's brand new, they may have given away a similar sounding one (but I could be mistaken).
Heh, the thought occurred to me a few weeks ago that nobody'd done a flower arrangement game.
That magic-farm game gets the concept all wrong though.
There's a bazillion things out there that girls would be interested in that you could turn into casual games.
Interior design, gift basket making...

I read the review and tried the game. Now I feel the need to punch myself in the face a few times for playing a flower arranging game.
yeah I'd draw the line at laundry too!
fish tycoon has done really well even though it's quite old now. My boys were really interested in it too. It's made by the same guy who made virtual villagers. I met him in Amsterdam at Casuality, he seems to be doing very well.

I meant people doing laundry while they aren't taking hits of acid. :-)
