Macbook Air advert music

Sometimes, an adverts music grabs my attention, the last one I liked was the Lloyds TSB advert, but, the first time I heard Yael Naim's "New Soul" song for the Macbook air addy, I was hooked! :)

I hate apple.. good song tho.

Apparently that commercial single-handedly put her album on the map. The folks who choose music for Apple's commercials are really good at that; it definitely isn't the first time this has happened. It's a cool touch that their advertising serves a dual purpose of helping smaller musicians, as well as having generally quite unique music, instead of just coughing up the nearest muzak.

Music in adverts recently has just got all nicey nicey and soothing... what ever happened to the likes of Dr Alban backing lyrca clad menstruating roller-skating women eh?
