I guess, based on his facial expression at that time, that it shouldnt be something bad, considering problem fixed, but still, what does that mean?

True, but that could makes it sound condescending when saying it to a person. In the US and UK, that's not the case. As said earlier, it's kind of an informal and friendly 'Well done, good job'. It's a compliment.
