I got the idea of using decals for some non profit works, here's a couple things I found:

Anybody can find these by googling for images. Good for prototyping textures and stuff like that.

talk about the LARGEST image ever.

What are these for?

Wouldn't you get a bit of a slap for using those in a game (even a free one)?

the pinstripe one would be for tattoo's on players
the others for raceing games but as you say slapped wrists etc

I think they give good ideas for game projects. But I would use for prototyping models like racecars, or like someone said tattoos and other various grafiti and stuff.

What? You think you might get in trouble for using someone else's trademark? :o>

Well, I'd basically charged them for the advertising.

It's the new indie way - just that nobody had figured it. Advertisers are very interested in advertising in computer games - the developers and publishers are not so sure as they don't want to upset game players. This is the indie coder's test territory.

A guy made a million+ by selling advertising on a webpage at a £1.00 a shot. He's a millionaire.

You still can't use company logos and registered trademarks, non-profit or otherwise.

I dare someone to do a demo based on a product.

Say Pepsi, or something like that.

Just like a public domain demo - but featuring the product.

Then send it to the manufacturer/upload a video on YouTube. I bet, if it is well made, they will love it.

Anyone started yet?

Anyone lifted finger? Or are you all just sitting at your monitors, mouths open, awaiting my next post?
