It was the other way round. Elvis ate Mac, but it was Big Mac, not Apple Mac.

It is a lot more boring around here. The gee-whiz factor of programming your own games has worn off. Many people from this community either got serious and moved into professional game development or dropped out. I think the gee-whiz factor was what made this place great with many of the programming mysteries and even business mysteries solved there's not much to talk about.

Yes it does seem a little quiet. Something new and exciting needs to happen like a native OGL2/DX9 3D module for max, a good solid and a new useful native IDE and perhaps a major front-page facelift for the website to bring back all the leavers & bring new blood. (those screenshots for the products no longer hold any 'wow' factor considering what they are capable of).

From a design point of view, the extra white space is quite attractive ;-)

i cant remember anything in the cloverfield thread to get it deleted save for it was a movie

great movie btw, I really enjoyed it in the cinema.

i avoided the thread cos the movie wasnt out in the uk at the time
so when i came to watch it and post my comments i looked 5 pages back incase it had gotten knocked back a bit

i was either blind or it had gotten itself deleted for one reason or another

it wasnt the best monster movie going
but it was kinda nice having a godzilla movie seen from the eyes of the paniced populus (although this meant you had no idea what was really going on just like they did)
kinda wish i came in late and missed the first 20 mins of the film ... it wasnt till the powercut/quake that it really began its mission
