Game Released - AtomHex
Miscellaneous Forums/Blitz Showcase/Game Released - AtomHex haha, awsome. Reminds me of geometry wars on x360 with the achievement system, except somehow even more tripped out.
Extremely nice particle effects. The only thing I found odd was the mouse movement, but maybe that's how it's meant to be? It seemed like there was only 12 or so directions I could turn the ship, making it extremely hard to aim at specifics.
On another note, I love it. Nice work

Looks great. It's amazing what you can do with alpha/addidional blending in order to emulate 2D in 3D. Some of these look like fractals that became alive.
Nice game.
Suggestions/comments:
1) Could do with a pointer in windowed mode.
2) Quite hard to play using my laptops touchpad. Not sure how it could be improved. Maybe I should try the keyboard! :D
3) As Retimer said: turning seems limited to 16(?) directions.
4) Looks great.
5) Looking through the instructions made me think its very complicated for a twitch shooter.

Thanks!
The mouse movement and firing should be any direction.
It's not complication - it's depth :)

Sweet looking game, I love the non-standard approach sometimes.
