If anyone has a Mac and has been even remotely interested in testing this game I'd love to see you on there. I was able to do extensive testing with the PC version but I only have one Mac so this could get ugly in a hurry! The server will be up and running for anyone interested. We picked up quite a few downloads just this evening from the Mac gaming community but the more the merrier! Min spec is a Mac Mini 1.25GHz PPC, Radeon 9200, 256MB RAM although I don't really recommend trying to play the game with that system ;)
Things are still a bit slow so we've got scheduled playtimes at 9PM and with that in place we've had some pretty hot battles. The gameplay is definitely something different so try to think outside the box of typical shooters (there's a certain strategy to the CTF game). Additonally, there are 3 secrets on the map which all award big bonuses for the player and their candidate of choice.
Gameplay is straight team based action but the results of the action translate into real world polls. The game is free and the general idea is to foster a new politically active gaming culture and community.
Right now it's just US based but people have expressed interest in the concept outside the US and modders have been jumping in to offer support so the game will be growing constantly and input is welcome ... I call it a DeMODcracy ;)
