...Some guy calls me up, trying to sell me a pyramid scheme. You know the type, 'What is your biggest ambition?', 'Wouldn't you like to retire early?','Don't you wan't to be a millionaire?','Chicks really dig millionaires!'

Of course I told him I had no ambition, want to work until I'm 80, is a catholic priest etc.

Then I remembered this.

That's what I should have done... I'll do that next time someone calls!

that video gets better every time i watch it.

Ha ha - nice one!

Lol! Very good. I pity the next sales person to call me!

When I get uninvited calls I usually pretend to be really interested by saying, "Sounds like a great offer. Can you tell me more?"
Then I put the receiver down for 5 minutes only to respond with the occasional, "mmm? go on!"

After stretching things out a bit I ask them to repeat the whole offer again to my 'brother' because he is very interested too!

Make THEM pay for the disturbance and at the same time have a little bit of fun

Brilliant!

You are all way too polite! I usually just so 'NO!', and hang up.. :P

Sometimes they ask why I'm not interested, and I say: "because it's <insertdayoftheweek>" upon which they reply, "oh, shall we call back tomorrow?".

One time I was quicker than them, and tried to sell than a pile o' garden garbage.., when they said they weren't interested, I said 'ok, too bad, thanks for your time and have a nice day', and hung up. :P

I once told a cold caller who was selling life insurance that I didn't need it as I am immortal. The guy paused for a bit then declared it covered injuries as well. So I said I was invulnerable too. He gave an uneasy chuckle then put the phone down.

I'm glad I don't live in America...

So am I...

OMG that was hilarious! I used to work in a call cenrre and that would've made me piss myself.
