Avernum 5 - really neat RPG

I've been loving playing the demo and I'm about to make a purchase. If you like RPGs and aren't a graphics whore, check it out.

looks good, not to detract from the game, but for some reason the text seemed huge on binary joy. I'm using Mozilla, but the text is fine here....

Blitzplotter: Hmm thanks. Perhaps your text size is not set to normal and BinaryJoy alters according to that setting and Blitz doesn't? (or it alters too much)

welcome. Don't be put off by the crappy in-game graphics, the game is really detailed and addictive.

Have you tried the Geneforge games? I much prefer them to the Avernum games - if you like the Avernum series then you might want to check them out. Spiderweb Software make great RPGs.

Right. Also, combat in the Geneforge games is more like Baldur's Gate.
