For the last month I've had some real problems browsing web pages and cannot access my ftp server. Download speed is just as fast as it's always been. After speaking with my ISP and going through the usual farsacle list of q's and A's, I've been told that it's likely a problem with my upstream so my router is at fault. They sent me a BT job and I've been unable to connect to the initial .blah.blah url.
Anywho, my ADSL connection dropped for around 3 hours and when it came back again suddenly things seem to be moving quicker. I'm still using my old router . I also noticed that when web access is slow that my browser ( mozilla ) is loading google analytics before accessing the url I'm after. How do I get rid of this and would this be a factor in the original issue which I've no doubt will return before I get a chance to finish this?
I've already replaced all the cables and I'm connected via the network card. Does anyone have any advice to offer?
Cheers
Stevie
