Installer Woes

I am making an app to install programs and am trying to find out how. If you want to use Resource Hacker to embed a sound, what "type" of resource would you label it as, and would you have to edit the source code? also the same with a bitmap.

I would not try such a thing until you have more expertise with programming. You are in over your head.
