I think they were foolish to include security protection that basically mimicked a crash bug, but he makes a lot of good points.

Oooh, yeh - it is a leap year.
My PC jumped from 29th to 1st.
That's jolly exciting.
Their "silently-crash-when-a-security-check-fails" idea was by far the dumbest idea I have ever seen. It was bound to happen to have pirates complaining about crashes on the boards. Yet, he blames the pirates for their low sales, when they should only blame themselves.
Not wanting to start another piracy debate, but ffs, just make a good game that people don't want to pirate. I played the Titan Quest demo, and its just a boring, mind numbing Diablo clone with pretty graphics. Nothing there to get excited on about.
And it's the pirates' fault if they aren't multi-millionaires with their shitty game.
