How to change my Linux cursor - £20!!

Seems simple - I need to change my system cursor in Linux. I'm using CentOs with gnome and I've created a custom cursor. Installing it is presenting a problem. If you can help drop me a mail at *****, with your phone number. I'll ring you back and if you sort it I'll PayPal you £20. Note I've tried various ideas off the net and none of it worked.

This is time limited... don't mail after 7 tonight.

Okay sidestepped the issue now. Changing a cursor shouldn't be rocket science, but it feels like it. Guess that's how Linuxarians get their thrills?

Different distro, but that little guide (scroll down) should do the trick! (With some conversion, naturally).


Pointers are now done via Appearance preferences (in 2.20), so I assume any good GNOME theming guide will cover them somewhere.
