Space Hulk Remake
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Space Hulk Remake could be good. I remember one of these years ago for PC or Amiga but it was a bit slooow...
I don't remember that. I know Mearrin ( I hope I spelled his name right ) was working on a 3D remake back in the days of Blitzcoder which looked pretty darn good. But then he got a job as head of public relations or something over at Caligari and I guess he didn't have time for the remake any more. Well that plus Blitzcoder went the way of the Buffalo, so even if he did continue it, he might not have posted here.

Nice. Except it doesn't show if you've got JavaScript disabled. :o> Except it doesn't show if you've got JavaScript disabled. :o>
I wonder what possessed him to do it like that??
i remember playing the gremlin? version of space hulk and hero quest
i was more into the amiga versions than the board game equivelant as i didnt have the time space or figures for a full on game of anything by GW
my brother had blood bowl cos he was into NFL and that was the closest thing going i guess but i never got into it due to always forgetting the rules
so a pc version of a board game that isnt an 'arcade' version sounds ace
if it works the same way as the board game then you could go from one version to the other with no fuss ... although you need more figures and friends for the real version ;)
can they do bloodbowl next ... id like to know how badly i was misunderstanding the rules all those years ago

Yeah, Games Workshop are pretty generous with their permissions for remakes. If I recall correctly, Mearrin had their permission to do his 3d remake too.
BloodBowl was cool too, although I've long since forgotten the rules. I remember painting a few of the lead miniatures though, including a really cool looking ogre.
EDIT: Removed. Apparently I'm the only one who can see it.
Mine ended up a sort of green-brown color and his mohawk was purple.

Impressive. I like the fine detail on that really badly compressed jpeg. This is why you are supposed to use png/gif for non-picture pictures. FYI, it says 'remote image linking is disabled'.
Well it worked for me, but it wasn't interesting enough to bother downloading it and uploading to my webspace, so I'll just remove it.
