Mindfind - free Binaural Brainwave Music

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Mindfind - free Binaural Brainwave Music

This is a mp3 I composed with binaural brainwave beats to stimulate your brain :)

Its medical proven that binaural brainwave beats can change our mind state (change the frequence of our brain.. like you are aware or sleeping, feel peace or good vibrations and more) Please google on the net if you are interested into this topic

its not dangerous and effects aren't working long

Instructions:
- Get into a comfortable position
- plug in your headphones
- throw out cats, put mobile and messengers off (you have to listen to it complete without breaks or other sounds)
- relax and calm down, breath deep and slowly
- count from 1 to 1000 and wait until you cant feel your body (its really relaxed then and the body sleeps but your brain is awake)
in this state try to feel movements like you were driving in a rollercaster with closed eyes or swimming in the sea.
- try to get into the fade of beeing awake and dreaming
- if you see scenes of things you can't remember or with no relation to you try to focus on them to start a dream and watch/control it (needs some training)
- experiment with your mind and your explorations

its important to use headphones cause of the binaural effects.. if you have no phones, try to arrange the boxes perfectly

I think you have to listen to it some times to get your brain compatible with binaural beats (some friends which never had used binaural beats in the past tested my tracks and it took some time until they worked.. other friends which already listened to binaural beats got fast results, nearly immediately)

Feel free to share :)

I hope you can enjoy those feelings like me :)

There is a matrix/holodeck or something already... Its inside us :) You dream every night but can't act in it.. This way you can stay awake and feel it like the real world :)

Interesting that in the dreamland if you focus an object and watch it, you see that there are no details like in the real ^^

another funny thing: try to spin fast in a 360° angle around yourself and suddenly stop :D
I don't want to tell you, first try it yourself :)

Really funny to explore dreams xD

That's called lucid dreaming and it doesn't require any audible stimulation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream
I'm not saying music doesn't help. The brain needs some trick to stray it from the normal sleep and if the music is your thing, then good for you. It's not THE thing that makes lucid dreaming possible, it's A thing that makes it possible.

Downloading now. I think I'll find this really relaxing to listen to, thanks! I'm a huge fan of lucid dreaming but I have less and less as I get older. Anyone who's interested in them, I recommend the Richard Linklater film 'Waking Life' - not exactly a riproaring watch but interesting series of vignettes about lucid dreaming, with some very nice hand-drawn dream-like rotoscoping.

Sounds like "magical" hippie nonsense to me.

A 61MB MP3??!!

ITS STRESSING ME OUT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!11+

Jasu please read more about this keyword: wild (wake induced lucid dreams)

its 61 MB because its one hour and it needs all frequencies (so good bitrate)

if it stresses you: stop it

Hello.

Investigate Peyote. Much more lucid, plus you get to vomit too.

Goodbye.

There's also a who thing called Holosync which is to do with meditation. It's actually scientific, not hippie stuff...

Do scientists claim this (and not just a few quirky crackpots) or hippies and "magic thinkers"?

Lucid dreams are definitely not a hoax - surely you've had at least one?

I don't know how effective binaural brainwave beats are at activating them, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility (from what I've read, they are proven by reputable scientists to have an effect on some peoples minds, although what they can do is limited). They don't seem to work for me though, but my brain seems to have a way of eliminating external influences on my emotions, brain state, etc.

count from 1 to 1000

That will take ages - and will be boring. I don't want to count to 1,000 - is it important?

Hey, would it work well whilst looking at this: http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=76019

and here's me thinking nebula had changed his screen name ;)

ive had a fair few odder dreams with my mp3 set on random with headphones
some times ill wake up at a certain song tho which is a pisser cos i cant get back to sleep again

my brain goes "hey wake up its one of your fave songs"
id much rather see what i do for the music video

ive fallen asleep listening to thrash metal which i thought would be hard seeing as its not quiet now is it?

Thanks for this! I'll definitely give it a good go.

I have managed on occasion to enter lucid dreams using my own binaural beat cd - but that was a long time ago now.

My entry path was to notice an image developing and then very, very gently leave my awareness on that image. If you are gentle enough the image should grow increasingly defined, eventually becoming "real", at which stage you can interact with it.

This is particularly excellent with landscape images as you can actually "enter" the image and start roaming about/exploring.

When I first discovered all this I was incredibly excited and raved about it to anyone who would listen. I was amazed at how few showed even a spark of interest. I don't think those who haven't been there quite understand just how "real" the experiences get.

Aside from the philosphical questions these experiences raise, they are quite simply great fun.

woke up this morning at 3am and couldnt get back to sleep till gone 6
i think i dozed for a few mins but had half hour round 7/8 i dont know the time as i was just chilling with me headphones on

i do remember most of my dream though and i could hear music and i think it was regina spektors Us but it could be something just as up beat or to do with cycling (i associate Us due to the sky ads) and i was unicycling for the most part

but when i woke up during a down beat song i (eventually) decided to rewind and see what songs were on
i got to the last song i remember being awake for and found that none of the others matched the one i heard in my dream

and one of the girls at work in my dream had breast reduction ... isnt that against the laws in dreaming its like she had a bikinni on just for some grapes not oranges like she normally has

I've been listening to this every night for about 2 weeks now. Often
twice a night. It definitely switches the brain into a different state
but I've no out of the ordinary experiences to report unfortunately.

I'm wondering - it seems to use a different method than normal - it
seems to pulse the sound rather than using 2 slightly different
constant tones. Is this a new method? What frequency is it? Was it
especially designed for OBE's?

Do you have any other tracks? I'd love to hear them!

Usually the sound is 'panned' from one headphone to the other at the required binaural frequency. The old continous tones, with the binaural frequency as the beat or difference frequency sound a little harsh.
