Watch it just for the short at the end. :-)

the rant was mildly amusing, but I just didn't get the bit at the end.

You clearly do not play team fortress 2. :-)

clearly :)

I can remember when the Zero Punctuation videos were funny. I've sat through the last three with a sort of forced smile on my face, wishing I could think of a reason to laugh. I don't know if the quality has plummeted or if it's just that the novelty has worn off, but back when he was doing Assassins Creed and Bioshock, I thought they were hilarious.

This one wasn't any better than the last three for me. And I do (when I have free time) play Team Fortress 2, so that's not the reason.

So it isn't just me then. I think the Psychonauts one is probably my favorite. That or Medal of Honor: Airborne Assault.

The last review that had me rolling was his take on Witcher which was 3 weeks ago, mainly because there were a lot of obvious points for him to stab at in a game (like his MMO comparison) of its genre for some laughs. (combined with the voice-overdub of Painkiller's intro that followed afterwards)

His reviews mainly get me rolling when he points out obvious 'flaws' in a title that you wouldn't really otherwise think about because we're so used to inconsistencies/quirks these days to bother thinking about it.
(such as in BioShock where monsters are basically sitting by idling as you're hacking a turret that'll just shoot them to bits after, or being able to hack stuff in the middle of a jump)

The TF2 bit was nice, reminds me of a little comic someone posted on this other forum I frequent.

I don't think it's fair to expect him to hit one out of the park every week. Nobody is that funny that consistently.

Bill Bailey?

Who?

English guy with a Somerset accent. Used to play a keyboard and tell jokes. Not everyone finds him funny (I do). He was also in Hot Fuzz (as the two similar looking policemen (seen at different times) behind the front desk at the police station...

The TF2 reference was excellent!!!!! I usually play the medic, and HW's love me dearly!

I find him funny. He's been on Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC TV comedy / panel show based around music) for years.

The best bit was the school next to the child molester training camp which was actually a Japanese Manga Comic shop haha.

Bill Hicks? George Carlin? George Bush (albeit unintentional)?
