Time Travelling WIP

I thought a game where you could jump through time and change stuff could be quite fun. To see if I could get the basics working I made a little demo thing in which you can save a mans life. This is the first thing I've got to a working stage for ages so I thought I'd share it.

Instructions:

The thing in the top left is the clock.

Left/Right Arrows to move
Hold Up Arrow to freeze time
While freezing time hold the Left Arrow to move time back
Press space to "talk" to the guy in red which makes him stop for a little while.

Currently you can only jump back in time, jumping forwards will be my next task.

That a major part of the gameplay in the old "Day of the Tentacle" point-and-click graphical adventure game. You control three characters, one in the past, one in the present, and one in the future. Actions in one timeframe have an effect on the future ones, and you can pass objects back and forth between the timeframes as well.

(e.g. make vinegar by sending wine back in time, having it included in a time capsule, and dig it up in the present, just to name one)

Definitely makes for some interesting gameplay when done well. :-?

Not bad for starters, but you don't need the time travel to complete it.

Nice. It would be nice to see the "rewind" effect while moving
the time back it's hard to determine where I moved with this.
