I asked about this about a year ago and to my knowledge the problem still remains on some computers.
The problem is that after installing IE7 on my Windows XP Home computer the start menu lags sometimes, but not all of the time, for about 2 seconds before it opens. The start button is pressed down and then you have to wait a bit. It is not a big deal but it can be annoying. Even after uninstalling IE7 the problem still remains but it is definetly caused by the installation of the software as several other people have had the same problem straight after a fresh Windows reinstallation and installing IE7.
Really I just wanted to know if anyone here has ever had the same problem and managed to find a solution. I have had a little look on the Microsoft site but cannot find anything myself but I have seen several other people talking about it after a quick Google search with no obvious solutions.
If anyone can help I would be most greatful.
Like I said it is nothing major just more of an annoyance.
