Planet Cruncher Released

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Planet Cruncher Released

Hi Everyone,

We just put a new game up over at Rock Solid Arcade, Planet Cruncher.

It's not written in Blitz (obviously, being a Flash game!), but a large chunk of the code is auto generated by a game editor written in Blitz that handles all of the boring stuff.

I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look and tell me what you think!

Fun but an absolute bugger to play on the laptop when using the mousepad instead of a mouse.

Yeah, I'd stick to Dogfight or Stunt Pilot without an external mouse. ;)

I played a game like this on DOS years ago and I've always wondered why nobody had remade it!

Moving to Flash now?

Hmm what was it again...ah yeah Quantum from Atari from the eighties! :O)

I liked it (nice gfx/sfx) although the level design could use some fintuning, played till Level13, the mouseinput wasn't this accurate on my Mini.

Looks nice, but I can't figure how to play it :S

I'm on it!

And the hits just keep on coming!

Another top effort Michael! I think it would benefit from a time limit to add some pace it's a bit too easy right now and I don't feel the need to hurry it.

Thanks guys!

The crystal limit keeps getting harder and harder to meet, so we didn't feel like a time limit was necessary. It simplifies the rules a lot.

It's on GameZebo today!

Woohoo!

Games awesome! And yeah, it's Quantum, but all nice and updated.
