I can't believe this, but actor Heath Ledger has been found dead this afternoon (US East Coast time) at his apartment in Manhattan, on what it looks like a suicide attempt with pills.
He is famous by his playing in
Brokeback Mountain, but will become a myth for playing The Joker in the
Batman Begins sequel,
The Dark Knight.

Given that he was found dead you'd think "suicide attempt with pills" was actually a pretty damn good attempt eh.
That said The Dark Knight stuff looks pretty groovy and the girl who played the princess in a Knights Tale was seriously cute.
Well, I would have said "on a sucessful suicide attempt with pills".

Has there ever been a cowboy movie that doesn't have homoerotic undertones? ... or have I just been watching the wrong channels?
I couldn't believe it either when I saw it on France24 a while ago.
Maybe he was upset at his breakup.
I have brokeback on dvd, I will watch it again when I have recovered from the shock.
