New workstation, new error

My new workstation gives me this error when compiling the samples:

X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  Major opcode of failed request:  128 (GLX)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
  Serial number of failed request:  39
  Current serial number in output stream:  39


Any idea what this error is?

Intel Core2, GeForce 8800, Ubuntu 7.10, BlitzMax 1.28

Hmm, this is related to Twinview and full-screen Blitzmax apps. Works fine if in windowed mode.
