Can't Sync Modules!

Help.

I just installed the latest updates to Blitz Max, and now I can't sync modules. I get the following message.

Synchronize Modules
Synchronizing: brl
Error connecting to server:  Unrecognized username or password
Synchronizing: pub
Error connecting to server:  Unrecognized username or password
Synchronizing: axe
Error connecting to server:  Unrecognized username or password

Process complete

I'm using the same username and password I have been for the past two years. WTF?

I'm using the same username and password I have been for the past two years.

While not directly related to the syncmods prob you ran into, you may want to pick a different password anyway, considering that there's been a link to this above the forums for over six months now:

It would appear that someone has been attempting to harvest passwords from the site lately using a javascript hack.

A similar attack was made about 6 months ago which was plugged at the time, but I can't be 100% sure that this latest attack did not work as the hacks were removed before I could get a look at them.

The upshot of all this is I strongly suggest people change their site passwords immediately. Such javascript hacks apparently only affect IE6, but you never know...

Also, please note that passwords are currently stored and transmitted in plain text, so do not use a 'valuable' password. I plan to remedy this eventually, but such a solution currently falls outside my meagre web skills.
