2nd life creates the worlds 1st online millionaire

So, an onlnine world that has been steeped in controversy for tax laws across the world has generated the worlds first online real estate millionaire, couple of questions:

1: is this genuine or conveinient timing to announce this is supposedly the case just before the christmas break where people have time on their hands

2: how many other avenues of this ilk will generate the interest to the level that you do well out of it?

As for whether or not it's genuine, certainly. I've been making a couple thousand a month selling in SL myself, but note that there are very very few of us who make a living from this. Look at the economic stats:

I read the initial article in a newspaper last weekend, that was my source for the info, someone rather kindly posted a link to something that seemed as though it was along the same lines as the recent newspaper article. I was under the impression that someone had made a million in the real world, albeit using a team of people, bit like a real world sweatshop to generate money in second life.
