Tying mistake in license information

Hi all,

"control panel > system"
It shows the windows XP is licensed to which user and company.
If there is a typing mistake in the company name, could we just change some settings in registry or whatever to correct it, instead of re-installing win?
The registration was finished by phone.

Sammy I don't know, but I would use the search function of reged32, search for that company name, edit it and see if XP will still boot :)

Activation is bind to hardware setup, changing company and user name is OK.
